Hi, there! Thank you for coming to my crazy pore blog. I’m Kozue, pore buster from Tokyo.
Today, I’d like to talk about the purpose of “Ultimate Nose Pore Championship”.
It’s not only for deciding who is the best pore holder, but there is a hidden objective behind this competition.
#Today is the last day for voting!
The First Ultimate Nose Pore Championship!
Obsession with my dirty pores.
When I was in my early twenties, I was obsessed with my dirty pores on my nose. Whenever I found someone laughing on the train, I thought they were teasing me, which made me get off the the train or move to another car.
There were times when I couldn’t go out without wearing a mask. I was obsessed by the thought that everyone was looking at my nose. But in fact, no one even noticed me…
As a result, I lived my life with a negative attitude. I was hesitant to meet new people, although I was looking for a partner.
Pore blog changed my attitude towards pores
Seven years ago, I started blogging about my most embarrassing defect, dirty pores on my nose. And I gradually became to be able to see my pores objectively and found that they are too small to ruin my life. Actually, my clogged and oily pores made my life interesting and enjoyable and became my bread and butter! I finally found an “oil mine” on my oily nose!
#Opened pores are always filled with oil.
Don’t sweat the small pores!
Sometimes I still worrying about how dirty my pores are. Because our nose is at the center of our face, which makes it stand out and has a huge impact on the impression of our looks, WE CONSISTENTLY BELIEVE SO.
We have to admit that “NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU” and NO ONE EVEN NOTICES YOUR SMALL PORES!” But, but mine are big… Yes, I know ours are somewhat bigger than the others but the difference is too small to be found by others. YOU are the only one who cares about your pores in this world!
Don’t be obsessed with your pores!
I wish my pores were clean…
I have received so many messages from readers who are also obsessed with their pores. Some thought that they din’t deserve to go out with someone because of their dirty pores. Some shut themselves away from society, refusing to go to school or work because of their clogged pores.
Don’t stick to the thought “I wish my pores were clean”.
It’s not the nose pore’s fault but your fault that you cannot succeed in finding a partner. I’m an evidence! I married a great partner with dirty pores. All you have to do is to stop blaming pores.
And live your life as if your skin is beautiful.
Laugh it off!
The first step is not trying to forget about your pores. However hard you may try to forget it, you cannot get it out from your mind.
So why don’t we laugh it off? Shake it off?
I hope this championship will help you to laugh your worries off!

Thank you for writing this…I also have really big pores on my cheeks and nose, and I have a really negative attitude because of it.
I didn’t go out except for work for many years, because I am ashamed of my large pores too. I think it is time that I stop caring so much, you really inspired me, thank you.
